The Moon pt i
Where fools rush in angels fear to tread
You will hear the moon described in many ways, and usually the first connection we make with the moon is a more sentimental one.
How could we not when it’s an amalgamation of all our emotional states? Our more private moments, where we keep running to when we need comfort, and of course the women and maternal figures in our lives.
While the Sun covers the surface at its most basic level, the moon takes us below, down to the roots.
You can’t have one without the other but unlike the Sun, which gradually introduces us to each sign and house as we grow, the moon kind of just throws us in.
And before we can even process the emotions of what we encounter, the moon has already left. Onto the next phase, waxing and waning onto the next sign, onto the next house, into a different lunar mansion.
While the Sun will put you through tests of will the Moon will test your patience, your emotions, and your sense of security.
Of course some of us have a little bit more emotional stability (not me) and some of us are unsure of where to exert that energy.
I feel like my thoughts become so convoluted when speaking about the Moon because it’s so contrasting yet so similar to the Sun. At its basic level the Moon is just emotions, but when have emotions ever been so simple?
MOON DOMINANCE
An abundance of Moon energy can manifest differently for those who possess it in their charts.
Someone who has many aspects to the Moon or has many placements in Cancer will be highly intuitive and emotionally driven. The constant ebb and flow of energy can also be used to their advantage.
Although naturally caring, they can often forget to consider and nurture themselves.
